What’s New for 2025
The 2025 Honda Passport is expected to be an entirely new generation of the SUV, following the footsteps of the redesigned 2023 Honda Pilot. The Passport and the Pilot share the same platform and many components, so that Honda would update them around the same time. The 2025 Passport will likely have a similar design language to the 2023 Pilot, which means a more rugged and stylish look than the current model.
The 2025 Passport could also grow in size and offer more interior space and cargo capacity than before. The current Passport already has a generous 115.9 cubic feet of passenger volume and 41.2 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row, which expands to 77.9 cubic feet with the seats folded down. The 2025 model could improve these numbers and make the Passport more comfortable and practical.
Another possible change for the 2025 Passport is introducing a mild-hybrid powertrain option. Honda has been investing in electrification and hybridization of its vehicles, and the Passport could benefit from a more efficient and powerful engine option. There is currently only one engine option available for the Passport, a 3.5-liter V6 with 262 pound-feet of torque and 280 horsepower. Release Date and Price
The release date of the 2025 Honda Passport has yet to be confirmed, but we could see it debut sometime in late 2024 or early 2025.
